Trying to keep it off

Jason, I came to the realization a long time ago that if I want to eat I will never weigh much less than 137 or 138 lbs. I work out pretty much every day so I'm not willing to give up letting myself eat on top of that. We maintain a really healthy diet I think but I also don't deny myself an occasional treat and I never will. At the end of the competition I weighed 128 lbs., a totally unsustainable weight for me unless I literally diet pretty much every day and keep a food journal and all that and I'm just not interested. It sounds like your body wants to be at 177 and that seems totally reasonable for your height. You weight loss was incredible but I wouldn't stress it too much if a few lbs. come back on.

  1. I am going to totally agree here Julie. I can totally see your point. I lost a total of 35 lbs but had a goal of 40 lbs. Now that I have the 35 lbs off I am very happy with my lifestyle maintaining this weight. I think if I did get 5 more off that I likely would have to do more to keep it off and I just don't think I want to! :) Chocolate is just too good and some days are just too long :)
